Ah yes, the story that took the internet by storm. He captured our hearts by being able to fly with a makeshift balloon and sent all of us a sigh of relief when he was in the attic all along.
Honestly, what kind of parents would stage this for the popularity? Everyone was worried the kid was gonna die, they sent planes and everything, and called volunteers. This wastes tax-payer money, and time, all for those 15 minutes of fame. Falcon, although an awesome name for this situation, may have been named this way for the balloon all along.
These are unfit parents, and should have Falcon taken away from them, the kid's gonna grow fucked up with that kind of family.

The most activity I've ever done on this site is reviewing flashes and games. Although I'm not educated in the art of flash (because the program is too damn expensive), I use my time in telling prominent/rising artists into what one average Newgrounds user thinks and would like to see.

But I know that I've come from short, usually one-liner reviews to more detailed ones that convey more of my opinion. All in two-three years, wow.

Did Newgrounds somehow educate me into using more comprehensive writing skills or was that the "magic" of the public school system? Perhaps it was the accumulated knowledge throughout age? Thoughts anyone?

Meanwhile, happy spring break for everyone with a traditional school year. What are you guys doing?
Pretty happy right now, going somewhere with the family for this break. By the time you read this, I might be relaxing in a 60-70 degree weather.

Got bored, I don't log on NG as much as I always did. My review rate is steadily decreasing because my lack of activity on this site.
I am really busy due to clubs and school stuff (that I would rather much not get into detail), so I'm afraid I might not revert back to my addiction to NG. But I'll log on as much as I can.
Meanwhile, I updated my icons and user page header. Smexy eh? If I get Adobe flash, I'll use my user page icon in my flashes. But it's still an impossible dream...

Glad to see that Tom's making some improvements to the site since I've left. It may not be major, but I like the new author's descriptions and the additions of the genre/icons. Keep it up guys!

I was half-expecting something more awesome this week after this year's awesome Pico Day. Imagine my light hearted surprise when I saw the cool banners and the great tank trophy.
The Tank Awards is Newgrounds first ever, and the competing flashes for each category are some of the best flashes on this site! It's gonna be near damn hard to choose just one winner at the end of it all, and it will be suspenseful when a flash fatefully drops off the list. (due to the instant-runoff voting system).

However, this epic event got me thinking: what if the awards expanded to more categories? My thinking produced these not-real categories that I feel should be a great addition.
(I am not asking Tom Fulp to add these, just thinking and for pure boredom, like always)

I thought it would never come. The Pico Day collection seems to be growing rapidly, showing this should be the best turnout ever. Because of this, I've been blamming and saving like no end. Also the audio submissions for Pico Day have simply stunned me.

Truly a great day for Newgrounds.
